How to Freeze the Top Tier of your Wedding Cake
- After the reception, refrigerate the top tier overnight to set the butter cream.
- Wrap the entire cake tightly with plastic, trying to rid all air pockets.
- Put the cake back in the box provided and wrap the outside of the box with plastic wrap.
- Put the entire box in the freezer.
How to Thaw the Top Tier of your Wedding Cake
- Remove the plastic wrap from the box and cake.
- Thaw the cake in the refrigerator at least two hours.
- Remove the cake from the refrigerator two more hours before serving.
All cakes come with a cake-cutting guide and description of your cake to provide clarity to the cake cutter.
